Meet Chris and Linda Sparks, the owners and founders of About ready to find out more about what we do.
Over 30 years Lifeguard Experience
Chris is the Instructor and Assessor for About Ready. Chris is also the Chief Operations Officer at “Oceans Alive Conservation Trust”. www.oceans-alive.org
Chris was the Officer Commanding in the SA NAVY. He left as a Commander. Chris is a qualified advanced diver, SAMSA skipper, IRB skipper, IRB Instructor and IRB Examiner.

Chris is the Instructor at Llandudno Surf Lifesaving Club and has been there for the past 10 years. He is passionate about the the ocean and drowning prevention. Chris has been awarded the Instructor of the Year Award from Lifesaving SA in 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2018.
Hello, I am Linda
Over 30 years Nursing Experience
Linda is a Practicing Nursing sister and Unit Manager at Constantiaberg Mediclinic. Linda has been nursing for 35 years. Linda has a Diploma in Nursing and Diploma in Nursing Administration. Linda has also completed Health and Safety courses, Environment courses, Fire Demonstration courses and holds a. Linda has been the chairperson of the Nursing forum, Environmental Manager as well as the Safety Health and environmental Chairperson.
Linda is also an ultra marathon runner.
